Neufchâteau was the first "Site Patrimonial Remarquable" (Remarkable Heritage Site) of the Vosges department and is committed to enhance its architectural and artistic heritage.
Ranked among the "100 Most Beautiful Detours of France" and labelled "Ville et Métiers d'Art" (Towns of craftsmanship), Neufchâteau has an exceptional heritage and is a touristic centre of attraction in the heart of the Western Vosges.
The EuroVelo 19 Meuse Cycle Route passes through the town, which allows bicycle tourists to discover the treasures of the historical centre.
