SAINT JOAN OF ARC BASLICA
Description
Located on the hillside above the village of Domremy, the Saint-Joan of Arc Basilica is the monument of the French recognition to Joan of Arc. The first stone of the building has been laid on 3 November 1881 close to the place where Joan of Arc said that she heard voices. The architect Paul Sédille was charged to erect the monument.
Inside, the basilica is decorated with large mosaics and paintings by Lionel Royer depicted the life of Joan of Arc.
