CROIX DE MISSION
Description
This cross would have been erected at the instigation of Abbé Lambert, priest of Girmont-Val-d'Ajol from 1877 to 1887.
It was refreshed in 2021. Its base was crumbling, and it was urgent to remedy this. Volunteers, with the support of the commune, undertook this beautiful restoration work.
From now on, this cross will bear the name of Mission Cross, a plaque made by the students of the Camille Claudel high school in Remiremont.
