GERARDMER
THE PROTESTANT TEMPLE
Description
Since 1911, this temple has belonged to various families who maintain it, grouped together in an association under the 1901 law.
After the war of 1870, several Alsatian families of Protestant denominations came to settle in Gérardmer, and it is to them that we owe the first hotels in Gérardmer.
It is located next to the Trexeau park, near the lake of Gérardmer. It is probably the only building in the city that was spared from the German destruction.
